  It's AMAZING How JWs Accept Things!

  i'm sure you can think of many different examples of how witnesses simply accept a point of view or a lifestyle and just live with it!.

  think of something that all jws must accept.....no blood.

  no matter how you scripturally rationalize it, witnesses do not follow their own interpretation of "abstaining" from blood.

  What finally pushed you over the edge?

  was there one issue or incident, final straw, so-to-speak, that made you leave once and for all?

  i know there was for me.. i had been having doubts for years, and had stopped believing it was the truth.

  but i labored on as a jw, in part because of my family, and in part because i had invested so much of myself in it.

  Steps of my fading:

  1) Always had doubts about blood, but when my son was born 7 years ago I thought: Would you let him die? No! Can you bring others into religion, where they are suppose to do it, but you yourself are not willing to do it????

  2) Seeing stupidity of some JWs: when WTBS cuts production of magazines , cuts meetings etc... some JWs around me started zealously yelling: Thats a proof we live in last days!!! This is a proof that the end is sooooo close!!! I thought: This really is a bunch of brainwashed people.

  3) Studiing pedophile cover up cases - I realized, that WTBS is actually the slave, who beats his brothers ...

  4) Reading several heart breaking stories of shunning on internet...

  4) Hearing a record from JC, that disfellowshiped my friend who was JW over 20 years, pioneer, elder, cooperating with local Bethel in translating, extremely humble and spiritual person - the reason: From the Bible he realized, it is OK to aproach Christ in prayer. Because his little son was taken to the hospital in a serious condition - he did pray to Jesus also. After some time spoke about it to other wittnesses, they denounced him and so he was taken to the JC. He has excellent knowledge of the Bible so the 3 elders were absolutely helples, not beeing able to prove he is wrong from the Bible. Anyways, he was disfellowshipped. I am so happy my friend did record the whole meeting...

  After all of this I realized I have only one goal in my life: To do whatever I can and to sacrifice whatever I have to, to prevent my 7 years old son from becoming a member of this wicked and destructive cult!

  One house or piece of property is donated to the Society each week

  when i was last visiting bethel in 2007, i saw some of my old buddies.

  without giving myself away, i have it on authority that approximately one house or one piece of property is bequeathed or willed or donated to the society each week.. thought you might like to know.. bf.

  In the downtown of my town (capital in Eastern Europe) an old sister donated historical commercial/residential building to the society in 1991. Her condition was the society would build a KH for her congregation in the building. The building is in a very downtown, on the main square. It could be sold very easily for 2 milion dollars US immediately.

  The society divided the building in units, sold 90 % of the building to one brother with very friendly relations to the local Bethel for 150.000 Dollars US for the commitment he will build a KH in part of the ground floor (10% of total space).

  The explanation from Bethel: The society doesn´t want to own anything that generates income. They just want the KH. And the price? We recived well elaborated evaluation ....

  So today this brother generates tremendous income out of his 90 % owned building.... All you need is to know the right people in Bethel ...

  I know the story personaly, was an elder in this KH for years ... Many brothers stopped donating money after this experience .... The old sister died shortly after she gave the building away ...

  Did you get sick after you went to an assembly ?

  Last assembly, after listening to the part "how wise it is for youngsters to avoid higher education", I wanted to vomit. I dont know why... did you have similar experience???

  i had an interesting experience over the weekend.

  i took a couple of my in-laws on a trip as a present.

  unfortunately they wanted to attend a meeting while they were out of town.

  Jimmy, very true and sad. My wife was raised in the same way. She was taught by her parents: "You must serve Jehovah, even if we will stop....."

  Let us seed doubts...

  that word is "define.

  " witnesses redefine words all over the place, and use trick words to obscure what they are really saying.. i have been able to sort through so much garbage just by using that word.

  Great WT study article!!! We need more of such study articles!!! Iam serious!!!

  When we got home from KH with my zealous JW wife we had during the day several very serious discussions. I pointed to several points in this article to show JW are not gods, but human organization, sect and nonchristian cult... She cried a little bit, had nothing to answer and agreed to start together with me NT reading to see whether JWs follow pattern of 1st century christians or not. She would never agree on that several months ago.

  Please, if you have any influence on GB, let them make more such articles!!! Please Please!!!
